The country has been devistated by heavy snow fall in the last few weeks. People living under tents covered or braught down by snow are in a horrible situation. I watched a young man who lost his two legs to frost bite.
It's a tragedy happening to those not connected. Not connected to the government circle, not connected to the foriegn forces and other elements.
But still they are citizens of the country and the goverment and their allies are totally responsable to proetect these human beings.

Afghanistan is yet again becoming a battle ground between powers.
This times it seems the west, led by the US, and Iran, a growing regional influence.
The decision makers in Afghanistan better be wise or else.....
I pray the peace arrives in Afghanistan. Keep that in our daily prayer cause the more we wish for it, i believe it will come true.
I am from Malaysia, my ancestor's origin is from nothern tribe of pakistan (swat) and our ethnic is pashtun.
And i dont mind to live my remaining years doing welfare work in Afghan/Pakistan tribal areas, especially the homeless and orphans children.
If one thinks creatively about a strategy that might acually work perhaps this can be a possible solution:
Afganistan has "never" been one country. A clan of tribes from it's earliest history until now.
Part 1. Grant autonomy and territory to every tribe. Create many small countries. This will compartmentalize the entire security problem. With "new pride" the populus, I believe, should unite. Stability and security should then ensue.
Part 2. The United States should recognize the country of Wazeristan. The US can verifiably claim that Pakistan does not control it. We may then "threaten" to declare war on Wazeristan. (Do you see where I'm going here) Either Pakistan or the US will then be forced make a critical chess move. Both would result in taking military action aginst the Taliban.
Checkmate.
